On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of Lovanium University, the Royal Academy for Overseas Sciences, in collaboration with the Faculties of Law and Criminology of UCLouvain and KU Leuven, was pleased to host a symposium on the past, present, and future of collaboration between Congolese and Belgian lawyers.
Testimonials on the origins of this collaboration were followed by a focus on current cooperation. The meeting, attended by various Congolese academic authorities, also provided an opportunity for prospective reflection on the modalities of future collaborations.
