The Section of Natural and Medical Sciences has its own series of dissertations. Each dissertation is a monograph whose publication has been accepted by the Section concerned after approval by a reading committee. Works that have been awarded a prize in the annual competition or one of the Academy's prizes may also be published in the Dissertation series.
